Ian Ganahl

I'm a creative professional with ties in theatre, film, and broadcasting.  My two main talents reside within acting and writing.

I utilize my writing skills extensively more than my acting skills, although I wish the opposite were true.  However, writing professionally is easier than being able to act professionally.

Currently, I write for broadcast media, which is what pays the bills.  However, I still write fiction - my strengths being in theatrical plays and screenplays.

Ironically enough, I have a Bachelor's In Business Administration.  The reasoning behind this is that I wanted to understand the business side of both film and theatre.  That way, I can produce my own material, without a big studio thrashing my creative piece.

While I was growing up, I had an overactive imagination, and seemed to always have film ideas running through my head.  And back then, I would never have guessed that a business degree would assist me in being more creative.

I have found perfect harmony in balancing out the creative and logical sides, finding a happy medium between "A" and "B".

Currently, I reside in the city of Fresno - located in Central California.  However, I will be moving down to Los Angeles this summer to pursue and develop my creative career.
